This Blackberry app, developed Tecmark, provides tastecard members with a slick, convenient way of locating nearby restaurants where they can get discounts.
Tastecard already had iPhone and Android apps and wanted to make the facility available to Blackberry users as well.
The app contains a full directory of participating restaurants, along with contact information, type of cuisine, and details of what discount they are offering and when it’s valid.
The app also features a ‘near me’ function, which pinpoints a user’s location, and then identifies the nearest participating eateries. Users can also see details of nearby landmarks, and the app provides directions from their current location.
