Sainsbury’s Jobs came to us with a challenge: to increase the number of job applications for their delivery driver roles through the recruitment website.
We created dedicated landing pages, increased the amount of delivery driver content, and implemented technical SEO changes to improve Sainsbury’s Jobs online presence significantly.
The Challenge
Sainsbury’s Jobs is the in-house recruitment portal for all of the Sainsbury’s Group, one of the UK’s leading retailers in food, clothing, general merchandise, and financial services
The site recruits colleagues for each of the Group’s brands, including Sainsbury’s, Argos, Sainsbury’s Bank, Nectar360, and Habitat.
Our challenge was to increase organic traffic to the site and job landing pages, and increase the number of completed applications.
The solution
Tecmark worked alongside Sainsbury’s technical team to optimise technical elements of the website that had been missed, this included elements of site speed and URL restructuring.
We then identified target keywords, rich snippets, and schema markup, and optimised meta data to give our content and SERP a boost. We also developed a dedicated landing page and FAQ section for the delivery driver roles.
